Submissions
Dear Reader,
Please consider bringing the following notice about opportunities to publish to the attention of graduate/undergraduate students, faculty and other researchers with an interest in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Asia Pacific Reader (APR) (www.asiapacificreader.org) is an online interactive platform for research, discussion and publication of academic subjects concerning the Asia-Pacific region. Research notes, opinion pieces and photography published in the APR are read by academics, students and other readers across the world.
Call for Submissions
The APR is currently accepting submissions from students, faculty and alumni. Accepted submissions will be published on the site and eligible for the Quake Prize (http://www.prize.asiapacificreader.org/). If you have an idea for a submission, please email publications@asiapacificreader.org with a short proposal.
Examples of submission formats include:
Field research notes
Working papers
Interviews
Opinion pieces
Photo essays
Reviews (of plays, films, exhibits, or events relating to the Asia Pacific)
Institutional profiles (of, for example, non-governmental
organisations operating in the region)
APR content targets readers with interests in East Asian society, politics, culture, and architecture.
