This year’s Graduate Symposium extends a cordial call for papers investigating the interaction between religion and the so-called necessities of life. This year’s theme has been selected to encourage interdisciplinary participation.
March 13th Scholarship Deadlines
The Faculty of Arts and Science Student Awards Committee is now accepting applications for a number of undergraduate and graduate in- course scholarships. The application deadline is March 13.

Avec sa programmation variée, allant du cinéma d’auteur au cinéma de pur divertissement avec emphase sur le cinéma de l’imaginaire provenant des quatre coins de la planète, le festival Fantasia peut dire encore une fois « mission accomplie » avec plus de 77 000 spectateurs comblés lors de son édition 2006. Cette dixième édition a été notamment marquée par la participation d’un nombre record d’invités prestigieux provenant des quatre coins du globe (dont la Russie, le Japon, l’Angleterre, le Danemark, les États-Unis et le Canada). Plus de 200 réalisateurs, producteurs, acteurs, représentants de divers studios, distributeurs, programmateurs de festivals internationaux, journalistes étrangers ont participé à ces 19 jours de célébration cinématographique encore unique au Canada.
UNESCO Bangkok
The Office of the Regional Advisor for Culture in Asia and the Pacific (RACAP) welcomes interns to learn about UNESCO’s programmes in the Culture sector, and to assist in the implementation of activities. Interns are expected to be enrolled in a post-graduate degree programme or hold a post-graduate degree in a field relevant to the Culture sector. A minimum term of six months is required. International Women's Rights Action Watch - Asia Pacific
IWRAW Asia Pacific has an on-going internship programme that offers successful applicants exposure to a range of women's human rights issues and knowledge on CEDAW and related treaty bodies. You will also be able to gain research, advocacy and/or organising skills. Depending on the duration and timing of the internship, we also usually provide interns with a chance to gain hands-on experience through involvement in one of our trainings.
